Join your local hosts Roberta and Aurelio at their small but charming traditional kitchen to learn to cook a typical Modena meal from recipes that Roberta learned from her mother. Your hands-on Bolognese cooking class will last about two hours, and you will learn to cook three different dishes from scratch. Enjoy learning about the tips and techniques involved in making a typical Bolognese pasta, a traditional side dish and a dessert like zuppa inglese (egg cream with chocolate and liquer dipped biscuits), tiramisu or crostata di amerene (sour cherry tart, a typical regional dessert).? Once you're done cooking, you will?sit down at the table to share the meal you helped prepare with Roberta and her sons. You will be served 2 glasses of regional Lambrusco wine to accompany your meal.? Since ragu (Bolognese sauce) takes time to cook, Aurelio may have some of the ingredients for your ragu prepared in advance.
