Walk through the market and explore local and regional produce sold by farmers from the region, and purchase a few ingredients that you will use during your cooking class. Back home, join?Aurelio and his mother Roberta in their small but charming traditional kitchen to learn to cook a typical Modena meal from old family recipes. Your hands-on cooking class will last about two hours, and you will cook three different dishes from scratch. Learn about the?tips and techniques involved in making a typical Bolognese pasta, a traditional side dish and a dessert like zuppa inglese (egg cream with chocolate and liquer dipped biscuits) or crostata di amerene (sour cherry tart, a typical regional dessert). Once you're done cooking, you will?sit down at the table to share the meal you helped prepare with Roberta and her sons.
