If you ask us what are the most beautiful waterfalls in the Marche we would have no doubt to answer: the waterfalls of Prata and Volpara! We are on the border with the Monti della Laga, the realm of sandstone, an impermeable stone on which water falls, slips, collapses and gushes creating spectacular natural wonders. We will walk among beeches, luxuriant ferns, and ancient chestnut woods: it will not be difficult to meet splendid blooms of wild orchids, while the sound of the roar of the torrents running on the stone slabs will be a constant presence. Here the water brings life and awakening, allowing itself the luxury of creating real masterpieces: the Cascades of Prata that gush out bright and luminous on the large sandstone counters and the Cascades della Volpara that descend violently and vertiginously with a jump of almost 800 meters.
