Depart from historic Stewart's Photo Shop on 4th Avenue in a comfortable van that's customized for photography tours. First, visit Earthquake Park, a scenic overlook of the Anchorage skyline fronted by Cook Inlet and backed by the Chugach Mountains.

Continue to Point Woronzof, a favorite moose hang-out; with a little luck, you'll spot some moose browsing by the roadside or wading in a pond at the Point.

Next is Lake Hood, the busiest floatplane base in the world, then it's on to Potter Marsh, a busy migratory bird sanctuary. Keep clicking en route to McHugh Creek, the perfect place to photograph a charming mountain stream.

The evening's grand finale is the Anchorage Overlook, with 360-degree views of the Anchorage Bowl, Turnagain Arm, Knik Arm and the Chugach Mountains.
