Kevin was extremely knowledgeable about the Underground Railroad not just in New York, but all over the U.S. He was amazing to listen to and answered all of our questions. He also gave us some great recommendations for the rest of our vacation, including which sights were worth seeing and some good restaurants near where we were staying.

We were picked up at our hotel as the company had said and greeted by Kevin the owner of the company. My husband and I were the only ones on the tour that day. He was very informative about the area and had done much research on the underground railroad. He drove us north to small towns where the underground the slaves were hidden in a barn. You must go to see the hidden spot that many people never see. He spend over three hours showing us sights, sharing history, and showing us places of interest near Niagara Falls. It was definitely worth the money.

Both Colleen and I enjoyed our day. We did learn a lot and we liked seeing the different buildings and areas. We would recommend a more structured approach to the tour. This could be accomplished with the choosing of a particular person and learning what happened to him or her.

My husband and I really enjoyed this tour. The guide is very professional, exceptionally knowledgeable, and enthusiastic. He provides extensive background information that went well beyond what was expected. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who considers themselves to be a student of history, as you will not be disappointed. Also, if you have school aged children, this is a 'must' for them to better understand this time in our history. If this company had other tours, then I would have signed up for them ALL! Thank you so much for a terrific experience.
