Take a Colorado hike to the next level by climbing one of the United States' highest peaks! Colorado has more than 50 peaks that reach an elevation of at least 14,000 feet (4,267 meters), earning them the nickname ‘14ers.’ Bragging rights can be yours on this full-day hiking adventure from Denver.
You’ll be transported from your Denver-area hotel to the base of the mountain, where you’ll start your guided hike. The specific mountain will be chosen by your guide on the day of your tour based on weather conditions and your experience level. Expect to hike 5-10 miles (8-16 kilometers) and make elevation gains of 3,000-4,000 feet (914-1,219 meters). This is for advanced hikers and moderate physical ability is required for all hikes.
As you climb, the views of the Rocky Mountains will get more and more incredible until you reach the top and feel like the king (or queen) of the world. During the hike, take breaks to recharge stay hydrated with a deli lunch, snacks and water (included, but you can also bring your own).
