This tour combines the fascinating history of the Truckee-Tahoe area with the chance to sample locally-produced wines and a varied selection of olive oils and balsamic vinegars.

You will have an easy start to the day with an 11am pickup in downtown Reno (additional pickup options available on request). Your guides will then head up the mountains so you can explore the rich history of the area and learn about a variety of fascinating local subjects from the Washoe people, to the Donner Party and the railroad.

You will also have the opportunity to explore historic downtown Truckee and stroll along the shore of stunning Lake Tahoe in Tahoe City. The day will finish at the Truckee River Winery, where you can enjoy a tasting of their award winning wines, or simply relax with a glass of your favorite red or white wine while playing a game of Bocce Ball. Your guides will return you to Reno at approximately 6pm.
