The first part of the tour which was near to the Times Square was great...

This tour was mis-marketed and was just the regular big bus tour. We did not see any of the holiday lights mentioned in the description - not even the famous rockefeller tree. Tour was about one hour - not two as mentioned in the description. I wouldn't have booked this tour had I known that it wouldn't actually be about the holiday lights.

The tour was interesting and informational but not at all what had been advertised. It was supposed to be a Big Bus New York City Holiday Lights Tour...but the simple truth is that we saw NO holiday lights other than a few private home window decorations. Even the photo above that remains with the advertisement was not a holiday light display that we saw!! It was crazy! Total waste of time and money...would never purchase a Big Bus Tour again. Very misleading advertising.

Sorry, but it was a waste of time and money. I've done other great Viatours, this one was a waste. You would see more lights by walking down 5th av and by the tree at Rockefeller Center. It swung quickly by Macy's and Lord and Taylor that was about the extent of interesting lights. The bus was freezing cold. Driver and tour guide did their best. Went out to Brooklyn to look back at the city which you could do anytime of year. Just not a worthwhile tour.

The tour and tour guide was a GREAT experience. Although it was "VERY" cold our guide was considerate and encouraged us to stay inside the bus until key points of interest were visible. Would recommend this as a way to see a lot of New York for a reasonable price.
