Ed was a very interesting and enthusiastic tour guide. He was able to show us many different views of the Park while answering all of our questions. He is knowledgeable about Joshua Tree Park and was accommodating through out our tour. He would stop so we could take pictures and shared many interesting facts about the area. Thank you Ed for a wonderful morning.

We had the best guide anyone could ask for on this tour. My wife told me he was very knowledgeable and taught her many things about the history of the park and its inhabitants and geology. I specifically chose the VAN tour, at a higher price than other tours as I have a hearing problem with background noise. The wind and road noise etc. was so bad in the soft top Jeep I could only hear bits and pieces of what the guide said. When we stopped and walked around some of the sites I was able to hear him and really enjoyed his expertise. I had to ride in the back seat as my wife has knee replacements and is not able to bend them enough to get into the back seat. In the future I would hire the same guide and company, but I will clarify that a van tour uses a van when I book.

My tour of Joshua Springs National Park with our guide, Ron, went very well. He was friendly, and met all reasonably requests. He picked my friend and myself up within a reasonable time, and brought us back not much later than expected. Throughout, he spoke knowledgeably of Joshua Tree. During a mile hike in the park, he showed an expert knowledge of vegetation along the way. A highly recommend this tour and tour guide to anyone who would be interested.

Had a fun and easy adventure to Joshua Tree with an excellent guide, Ron. Perfect weather graced our adventure group with amazing primordial rock formations back dropped by verdant green Dr.Suess-like ancient Joshua Trees. Our groups senses were touched with glorious purple and yellow spring desert flowers just peaking open as mischievous black ravens glided through the azure and rust ski and landscape. Hidden in an ancient secret cave we discovered an amazing early Native American spiritual site graced with rock paintings. Keys View topped off the journey with sweeping panoramic views of the desert, sky and mountains from The Salton Sea, to Palm Springs, Mt. San Jacinto and beyond. As we were bidding farewell to the park a bit of wry humor popped up.....the headstone of Johnny Lang, a colorful gold prospector smack atop the Lost Horse Gold Mine. The legend of Johnny's life and quest for gold has many amazing versions but one thing for sure, the real treasure in Joshua Tree is the sense of peace and tranquility you feel embraced under a canopy of timeless untouched, protected nature.

Trip provides a great overview of Joshua Tree and the surrounding area. Ron our driver and tour guide was wonderful! Very knowledgeable, went out of his way to be accommodating and gave many fun behind the scenes facts about Coachella Valley and Joshua Tree itself. It takes a while to get into the main part of the park, but Ron did his best to keep the travel time interesting. I would recommend this trip especially for first timers to the area and Joshua Tree!

George was our guide to Joshua state park in Ca. He was extremely knowledgeable , very well versed in the area and gave us a history tour all along the route to the park. The park itself was amazing and George never disappointed us. Amazing details and stops throughout the park, Indian paintings, history of the rocks, all in all a wonderful 4-5 hrs. Would absolutely recommend the tour from big wheel tours.

This is not us in the photo, but we had a wonderful time! George, our guide, gave us tons of information and a very thorough tour of the park and surrounding area on the way to and from. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone who has not visited the park. It gives you a great overview of things to study in more detail when you have the whole day to spend.
