You'll start your paddleboard rental at the East End Beach. Our staff will get you geared up wtih a lifejacket, a paddle, and a paddleboard. We'll also give you a dry bag so you can bring a camera or phone along with you and keep it dry.If you've never been on a SUP before, we'll give you some pointers on how to paddle safely and efficiently.

Then you'll head out onto the waters of Casco Bay. It's probably not as difficiult to stand up on a paddleboard as you expect. But even if you're not comfortable on your feet, it's just as much fun if you sit on your knees and stay low.

From our site at the East End Beach you have several routes to choose from. You can paddle along the beach to Fish Point, where you'll get a view of the bustling Portland waterfront and the several lighthouses that mark the channel. Or you can paddle into the more protected waters near the Back Cove, where you'll often see Osprey diving for fish. If you're an experienced paddleboarder, you might even venture out towards the nearby islands, where you'll find hidden beaches, abandoned forts and a cool breeze from the open ocean.
