XOX has been named one of the Top Ten chocolate-makers in the United States by prestigious Chocolatier Magazine and The Rosengarten Report. This cozy little shop is a great place for an afternoon pick-me-up. Enjoy truffles created by the talented Chocolate maker Jean-Marc Gorce.

This was a wonderful tour. Not only was all the food we tasted great, and the restaurants, shops, and bakeries great...but our guide, Jim, shared so many interesting historical facts about the area. He took us to some out of the way places that we surely would have missed.
We were a group of 5 ladies celebrating a friends birthday, and this was a perfect way to do it. Highly recommend it !!

Brian, our tour leader, was very friendly and entertaining. The history of the North Beach area, was a welcomed surprise. The walking tour was at a leisurely pace and not strenuous. The food samples were generous and quality was outstanding. We ended with some wonderful pasta dishes, but I wish one of the desserts would have been the finale.

The tour was amazing! Jim was an excellent tour guide he was funny and very knowledgeable about the north beach neighborhood and the history of San Francisco. The food was the star! Every stop was delicious. I loved the ravioli and the tiramisu. A great way to have some great food and learn history.

We had a very enjoyable tour with Brian. He was both knowledgeable and fun. The food was very good and adequate for lunch. Recommend you take tour early in your trip as there were several restaurants we would have liked to try.

My wife and I happened to book this tour on a Monday and were the only two on it. Our guide was Jim and he was great! We made about 6 stops, half sweet and half savory. We had the chance to speak to most of the owners of each location and got a mini history lesson on our short walks between each location. If you are thinking about exploring North Beach, this is definitely the way to do so.
