We took our 9 year old son on this day trip and he loved it! Great guides... Muir Woods and Sausalito were beautiful! Alcatraz is a must.

The bus driver on this tour was fantastic he was funny, education and interesting all the tour, the trees, the stop for photos of the Golden Gate Bridge and Sausalito were terrific plus to top it off we spent over 3 hours on Alcatraz which is a must and can't be missed

Antonio was our tour guide. Super fun guy and full of facts and knowledge. Went out of the way to make it fun. Alcatraz was so cool. Audio tour was great!

This was a very interesting trip. The trip to Alcatraz was scheduled for 8.45 so when we arrived there were very few people there. This meant you could see everything clearly. The free audio tour is fantastic. The muir wood and Sausalito trip did not start until 3pm. The trees in muir wood are majestic. The little town of Sausalito is beautiful.

Only went to Muir Woods. Josh our tour guide was fantastic. He was kind, knowledgeable and fun. Really the best. However, dealing with Viator and Gray Lines was difficult and confusing. Directions to the various offices for tickets were not clear. Transportation between pier 33 and union square to get tickets was burdensome.

Both Alcatraz and Muir Woods were great. We had to get our own transportation to the pier and then to Grey line bus station. Grey line didn't have enough buses to carry everyone so they had to get another which was a half hour delay. By the time we got to Sausalito all the shops were closed.

The process of checking in and getting the information for the tour needs to be worked on. There was no one there at the time it indicated to pick up vouchers. We ended up just going to the 2nd location where the boat was and got the tickets for Alcatraz. After that tour went back to the 1st location and someone was there. We missed the original time (since we did not know) end up going on a later tour so this really took all day. Our driver for Muir was very informative and the experience was cool. Sausalito was a 40 min stop so there was not much time to do or see much.

Even though the attractions were OUTSTANDING , I only gave 3 stars because the prices to obtain tickets is ridiculous! Go here, go there, be early to pick up tickets (wait in line for 30 minutes until both opens to pick up "vouchers". After you pick up "vouchers", walk half a mile to get "tickets", wait in line to board boat. After that taxi (uber) through the city to catch bus.... ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!! If I could rate attractions...5 stars, ticket process NEGATIVE 5 stars!!!

Viator oversells this tour-my children and I were not able to take the tour at all. Very disappointing-I will NEVER use their services again.

My family of 5 travelled to SF to do this tour, confirmed weekly between booking and April and the tour date of 8/3 and was told they would provide the time of arrival 24 hours before. I called the day before and they didn't have it. We checked into our 600 hotel after traveling 700 miles and was told by 4:30 PM that afternoon we would receive an email of where to go and when. We did not. We called continuously until finally someone answered the phone. She stated that they had a malfunction and they never had tickets for us. We immediately tracked down the Gray Lines booth at the pier and the woman could not have been more rude and continued to state that they just sold something they didn't have and it was my fault for going through a third party. Since then, I have attempted to contact Viator and Trip Advisor and have been unable. To date all I've been able to contact my credit card company to report this FRAUD as I had paid this in full back in April. I plan to file a suit against all of them for the expenses associated in getting to SF and staying at a ridiculously expensive hotel to be near by for the early am departure. Absolute insanity and no human to speak to about it expect for some incredibly uncaring rude clerk in a kiosk in SF. Unbelievable travel experience. Don't trust this company!!!
