You will be picked up from a central San Francisco meeting point and taken to the heliport to board a Bell Jet Helicopter for take-off on an exciting San Francisco Helicopter Tour.
An accompanying musical soundtrack is choreographed to the flight, along with spontaneous narration by your professionally trained pilot. View the hills of San Francisco where you can see famous districts such as the Castro, the Mission, Pacific Heights, Chinatown and the Presidio. Flying over San Francisco you will get a unique perspective of the city skyline, including AT&T Park - Home of the SF Giants, Coit Tower at the top of Telegraph Hill and the financial district with the famous Transamerica Pyramid.
On this 56-mile (90-kilometer) helicopter flight (25-30 minutes), you will see many of the well-known San Francisco Bay landmarks from the air such as the Ferry Building, Alcatraz Island, the Bay Bridge, Fisherman's Wharf and of course, the Golden Gate Bridge.
Fly north to take in the Marin Headlands and California's craggy Pacific Coastline. You will also see the artist town of Sausalito, the sleepy town of Tiburon, and the former immigration station of Angel Island - the "Ellis Island of the West".

All of the Bell Jet Helicopters are maintained by Bell Factory Approved Mechanics and are flown by Bell Trained, FAA licensed pilots

All flights are taken in quiet, smooth and reliable Bell Jet helicopters seating 4 or 6 passengers

The weight restriction for this flight is 300lbs (136 kg). All passengers must be able to properly use standard aircraft safety belts

Recommended: Comfortable shoes and a extra layer of warm clothing

All items carried on-board are subject to search. Large bags and backpacks are discouraged

Weather permitting. If seasonal fog obscures the view, tour route may be altered

Prior to your travel date, all passenger heights, weights and contact details MUST be advised. If you do not indicate this at the time of booking, you will be required to call the tour operator and advise them of this information directly. Flight itself was amazing! Pilot was incredible. 4 stars however because it took 3 hours overall rather than 2! And we would have made dinner plans differently. Worth it tho!

what an experience just flying under the golden gate bridge was stunning enough but when the pilot did a 360 degree hover to let us get panoramic view of San Francisco bay area it just took you breath away not cheap but well worth the money for the views and excitement

I was only in San Francisco for a couple of hours and was looking for the quickest way to tour the city. This was it! Probably one of the coolest things I have ever done!!! Worth the money!!!

This was a great tour. We were lucky enough to go on our helicopter tour of SF when it was a beautiful day in SF. Not a cloud in the sky. Definitely the highlight of the tour was when we flew underneath the Golden Gate Bridge...that was incredible.

The helicopter was nice, not too crammed with six people in it. The pilot was great. Very informative and entertaining.

The only thing I didn't like was at the beginning and the end, the rush you into the helicopter and rush you off of the helicopter. It would have been cool to have a minute or two to take pictures in front of the helicopter to have as a keepsake.

Other than that, great tour and well worth the price.

Well what can I say .....wow what a trip would definitely do the 30 minute trip it was as John on our helicopter would have said awesome and it was.
A bit of advise pick an afternoon flight we found the weather to unpredictable in the morning!
Pick up point was easy to find and easily explained.
We had a great time and would like to thank Viator and the San Fransico Helicopter company for making it a great day to remember.
Tip,
Fly with someone who has a birthday ! We had two couples who had birthdays on our trip and the pilot did an over and under to celebrate the day.
It's a celebration of our birthday everyday ....right!!!
