The tour guide didn't turn up so we didn't get to go on the tour, so unfortunately I cannot say whether it would be any good or not!! Extremely disappointed and a total waste of money. The only reason it gets one star is that I was unable to post this review without giving a star!

It was a wonderful experience. My grandson,Dallas, thoroughly enjoyed it also. He teared up in Ford Theater. The information that was shared was fantastic. We couldn't have ask for a better tour guide.

We were not the most knowledgeable group when we started, but by the end of the tour we were experts on Lincoln's assassination. Tim Kelly was great at explaining and answering our questions. This is a very interesting and comprehensive tour of Lincoln's last hours and the days after.

I was very disappointment. The instruction given was not clear as to where to start the tour. Not being familiar with Washington DC and the street. I went to Ford Theater instead of the White House. The helpful people at Ford Theater told us that we should be at the White House. The instruction only gave a street address. It was not clear. The tour of Ford Theater was very good.

I read many reviews before booking and everyone had such great things to say about Tim Kelly and it looked like the most recent review he was the guide so I booking kind of expecting to get him and got someone else, Rick Snider. Right off the bat he stated he was related to John Wilkes Booth and I had my doubts. Maybe that was supposed to be a spoof but no one laughed. Then he claimed to be a sports writer and later claimed that his family owned some kind of film company that produced commercials or news segments or something by this time I was only listening to him half the time. He was a nice guy and all but I wouldn't go on another tour of anything with him....not even his own life story. MAKE SURE YOU REQUEST TIM KELLY!

It was amazing. My husband is a Lincoln buff and was totally in his element. The guide was amazing. Very personable and handled the detours well. They closed the park while he was talking because of white house stuff going on. But he never skipped a beat. We got in to the Fords Theater which for the last 4 visits to DC we weren't able to do. We highly recommend this tour.

excellent experience.....our guide, Tim, was superb and we could tell he really enjoyed what he was doing. Very informative, extremely knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

Our tour guide was pleasant and overall I enjoyed the tour. However, I counted at least a dozen inaccuracies throughout the tour. I didn't want to embarrass the guide and call him out at each error, but it damaged his credibility in my mind. The biggest whopper, and one that I did not include in my count, was our guide's statement that he was not only related to Booth and Surratt, but also President Garfield. This obviously strained the bounds of credulity.

I am an avid history buff and give presentations/lectures on the Lincoln assassination, and was hoping to pick up a few tidbits or little known facts for my 40 ticket. Unfortunately, I came away with nothing I didn't already know.
