After pickup from your Katoomba or Leura hotel or the train station, your small group will travel in a sturdy four-wheel drive vehicle into Blue Mountains National Park. You will be able to access parts of the park far from the tour buses and crowded viewpoints, getting unparalleled views of the famous Three Sisters rock formation and stunning Grose Valley.

As you traverse the Blue Mountains, your experienced guide will share stories of the region, explaining the history of the early explorers and the legends of the aboriginal peoples. As you explore the dramatic landscape of deep valleys, sandstone rock formations, and giant eucalyptus trees, you’ll have plenty of time to snap photos and take short walks. Learn from your guide about the natural history of the area as you get a close look at the forests and rock outcroppings.

At lunchtime, you’ll stop for a gourmet meal in the middle of this gorgeous wilderness. Your guide will set out a selection of dishes accompanied by a cheese plate and Australian wine. Take in the incredible scenery as you enjoy your meal. You’ll also have a break in the morning for tea.  

After lunch you’ll continue to traverse the rugged roads of the Blue Mountains, making a loop of the park and accessing hidden spots away from the crowds. At the end of your full day tour, your guide will return you to your hotel or the train station.
