Start your tour with a visit the beautiful little hinterland town Bangalow with its fascinating mix of local shops, galleries and cafes. Stop for a locally brewed coffee and indulge in some locally produced food (at own expense) before making your way back to Cape Bryon.
Cape Byron Lighthouse stands on the most easterly point of mainland Australia. Take a walk up to the lighthouse and be rewarded with specular ocean views. During the month of May to October you may be lucky enough to spot migrating whales  the lighthouse is one of the best on land vantage points for watching the annual whale migration.
