Make your way to Marlin Marina, located in the heart of Cairns, to meet your guide for your flyboard experience.
Begin with a safety briefing and an introduction to your equipment, then get started with your flyboarding lesson. Put on the provided wetsuit and helmet, then take a Jet Ski with your instructor over to the part of the marina where you can take flight.
Your instructor demonstrates how to handle the gear and hold yourself in the water as you prepare for the water jets to spring into action below you. Once you have mastered the starting position, your instructor watches carefully as you practice turns and get your balance. Your instructor stays close by throughout your experience, assisting as needed with steering, elevation control, deep-water landings, walking on water and more.
