We started this trip with a shuttle pick up in port Douglas and were returned the following day to cairns. They were very accommodating with our luggage and actually brought a trailer. We were in Australia for a month and were switching hotels so could not leave our luggage behind. Normally you are supposed to limit to a backpack for the trip. We opted for the overnight package at the cape tribulation beach house. Staying overnight was a great decision. It would have been a long trip for one day. We also did a night walk in the forest which was an amazing experience because of our guide Ian. This was definitely a highlight. We did a free nature walk along the beach with our beach house host. Accommodations are simple but adequate and quaint. You have to remember you are in the rainforest so cell service and wifi were not available. Although I think you could pay for wifi service at the reception area if you chose to...which we did not. We had a king size bed in a private beach house and the shower was amazing. Both our guide on the drive up...Carmen and our guide back..George were full of local information and history. Our trip home finished off with a trip to the best home-made ice cream I've ever had. Don't miss this! We had our crocodile cruise on the daintree river and saw lots of large and small crocodiles it was worth the trip all around!

I really enjoyed this tour. The tour guide Lisa was amazing. I love the personal stories, her obvious love of the natural habitat and in awe of her knowledge. I stayed overnight at the beach hut. Fantastic food by the way but would recommend staying as otherwise would be big day. I missed out on night walk as booked out so pre book if interested. The staff tried to get me on tour and even offered me covered shoes as I didn't bring any. I was solo travellor so Lisa introduced me to Carmen who was to be guide next day which was reasurring. Carmen was so full of enthusiam. I love that. On return trip we had an additional unscheduled stop although brief was fantastic of guide to take us to ice cream place. I love that they can be adaptable . Saw a cassoway in wild on boardwalk . Overall a really good trip and price was great for what I got

Although the river cruise was out for the month of February and I wasn't told until the day before, it was such a great tour! The Cape Tribulation Beach House was such a cute place to stay for the night, just a small walk to the beach. The tour guides were extremely helpful and knowledgeable

This tour was great. Enjoyed staying for one night and got to do the zip lining which was fun! Would highly recommend!
