I read the reviews saying that the boat ride is rough but I thought 'maybe the reviewer is just soft, I'm an experienced traveler, I'll be fine'. And I suppose I was fine, thanks to the heavy-duty anti-motion sickness pill I took, but I still felt very uncomfortable! And some of the other passengers (who didn't think to bring heavy-duty pills - they hand out ginger pills on the boat, but they don't do much) were not fine!
That said, I did see some amazing things on the boat trip, including a whale! And I enjoyed Port Arthur, where I had plenty of time. And the trip was very well organised.

The 3-hour eagle cruise trip is perfect with an eventful tour route along the coast. We are glad that a waterproof raincoat is provided on the boat to resist the wind. Totally excited to witness wild dolphins in action at the open ocean!
Plenty of time was allowed to explore Port Arthur as well.

The tour operator had not mentioned that there was a short boat trip to Death Island and the prison for children and you will run out of time if you walk to the right at the historic site.

Amazing! It was a great day! Pennicot Wilderness Boat ride was somehow bumpy but not excessive to be concern, the Tasman cliffs were spectacular, we saw many sea Lions, the crew did everything necessary to show us the wild life of the area, we were fortunate to see several albatrosses that we were told it was a gift to see them, because rearly they are in the area. A must if you visit Hobart.
After lunch, we continue to Port Arthur, It as an experience to be on such a historic site!

An amazing day, even when pouring rain for half of the day. The Tasman Peninsula is incredibly beautiful and the boat trip up the coast was memorable, for the wind and rain fortunately you are provided with a full length rain coat and in spite of that, for the amazing views of the cliffs, caves and coastline and the abundance of wildlife absolutely enjoying all of the good food in this area. Lots of birds cormorants were spectacular, sea lions and schools of dolphins flying through the water - it was like watching a National Geographic special. This becomes one of those once in a lifetime experiences you will never forget.

Details were well coordinated. The Tasman cruise was the highlight of my Australian trip. The Tasman sea is raw, wild and beautiful. Tour guides were well informed and friendly. I highly recommend this trip.

Amazing day out and really enjoyed the day.

One of the most amazing trips ever experienced. From the coach driver to the boat crew, from the hospitality to the historic Port Arthur site - a day full of education, adventure and inconceivable majesty of the Tasmanian landscape.

Truly outstanding! We had so much fun, The crew was engaging.

Fantastic day trip with great staff and highly recommended. If I could do it again however I would do it in two days as an afternoon is not enough to properly enjoy Port Arthur. I'd probably do the boat trip and the Devil Unzoo Day One and Port Arthur all day Day Two.
