Meet your guide in front of St Paul’s Cathedral to start your toothsome tour of Melbourne’s tastiest cupcakes and macarons. Sample the wares at each shop that you visit as you learn what they are known for in the city’s sweet landscape.
Pop into Cupcake Central, where more than 20 flavors of cupcake rotate daily to keep things interesting and fresh. Try bites of their classics, or some of the day’s specials.
Step into the Victorian-era shopping center called the Royal Arcade to find Koko Black’s chocolates. You'll have no trouble discovering mouth-watering morsels to sample from a selection of European-style fine chocolates and cakes. If you like your sweets to be drinkable, sip on the rich hot chocolate.
Nibble on macarons from two bakeries that specialize in the delicate French cookies: La Belle Miette and A La Folie. A La Folie macarons are the featured goodie carried by The Little Royal, a cafe in the Royal Arcade. Around the corner, walk into La Belle Miette's quaint shop where rows of macarons come in a rainbow of colors and flavors. Try a few and decide which ones you like best.
Walk into The Cupcake Family to check out their assortment of scrumptious macarons, and cupcakes that are made from a family recipe. Then wrap up your tasting tour at Little Cupcakes, which opened in 2007 and has been crafting gorgeous little cakes ever since.
Throughout your tour, your enthusiastic guide shares fascinating facts about baking in the land Down Under, as well as other local specialties.
Please note: Expect to walk at a relaxed pace and cover about two miles (three kilometers) with time to stop and taste the treats at each location.

My butt hates me. I loved it - probably a bit too much. But the approximately one billion calories I snarfed up were absolutely worth it! LOL Also: our guide was a font of knowledge of stories and made the tour very enjoyable. loved it a lot
