You will then be transported to the launch site for your Melbourne balloon flight where you may help with the launch, or stand back and take pictures. In the early morning light your balloon will drift over Melbourne's parks, gardens and the Yarra River as the city comes to life. As your balloon floats above Melbourne you'll look down on some of the city's iconic venues including the Melbourne Cricket Ground, Melbourne Park and Albert Park racetrack. Your balloon flight over Melbourne will last for approximately one hour. After the final landing and packing the hot air balloon away, head back to the centrally located Pullman on the Park where you can then stay for breakfast or take a quick 10-minute walk back to the city center.

Balloon flights in Melbourne are weather dependent and your route will be determined by the winds. Your balloon may fly over Melbourne's CBD, which is laid out in a large rectangular grid like pattern on the northern banks of the Yarra River. Alternatively, your Melbourne balloon flight may head over the inner suburbs, parks and gardens to discover why Victoria is labeled the Garden State.

This was a super cool experience. We got lucky with the weather, and while it was slightly overcast, it was warm and the mistiness made for a more dramatic experience. I would just say be prepared to do some work! They expect the people on the tour to help unload and then pack up and reload the balloon and basket. Granted, it was kind of cool in the end to participate in that, but it was a bit of a surprise. The breakfast after was also very good.

An amazing experience, flying over the city as it wakes up was truly inspirational. Although this is not a cheap tour it really is worth every penny, a once in a life time thing to do . The crew were hugely professional and made you feel safe and in very good hands.

I have a bucket list of things that deal with my fear of heights. Taking a hot air balloon ride was on that list. Thinking that an aerial view of Melbourne would compliment that, I rose to the challenge. I did not handle the knowledge of hearing the actual height of the balloon so I disregarded it and looked at the view. In retrospect, I understand that the fear of facing something was harder than doing it. I am glad that we did the flight and I would recommend it to everyone.

This was my favorite part of our trip! The ride was gorgeous!!! The guide took pictures of our group so we got to take home some great photos! The weather was beautiful and the champaign breakfast was great! This is something you'll remember forever! Great way to view beautiful Melbourne!
