Collect your bike from the Rocks, and get ready to explore Sydney by bike. Enjoy spectacular views as you ride the dedicated bike path across the world famous Sydney Harbour Bridge over to the charming bay side suburbs of North Sydney, known for their art and craft markets, the secret gardens of Lavender bay and also home to the Australian Prime Minister. Roll along the board walk past the boat marina to Australia's oldest theme park - Luna Park. Hop on a ferry with your bike and experience the return harbor crossing on board an iconic Sydney Harbour Ferry, or ride back over the bridge and continue your adventure!
Then explore Sydney’s majestic harbour front as you coast along the water's edge. Take the flat, care free bike path past Sydney Aquarium, Maritime Museum and on to the bustling Sydney Fish Markets. You may wish to stop to treat yourself with a delicious seafood lunch (at own expense) while you soak in the market atmosphere. Continue the ride through the trendy district of Pyrmont passing chic cafes and shops and over to the vibrant entertainment quarter of Darling Harbour.
Finally cycle along the bike friendly path through Circular Quay to the iconic Sydney Opera House. Climb the steps, take a photo and continue your journey into the Royal Botanic Gardens. Discover the diverse and exotic plant life, take a seat on the hand carved Mrs Macquarie’s Chair and take in the panoramic views of the harbour. Ride up to Hyde Park, stopping in at the Art Gallery of NSW. You may wish to stop to check out one of the galleries free exhibitions. Continue to the nearby attractions of the Convict Barracks, the Australian Museum or St Patrick’s Cathedral before returning to the Rocks.
