Great to learn a little history whilst having a drink

Great tour with a great tour guide. Highly recommended when you stay in Sydney.

We did this tour within hours of landing in Sydney! It was a lot of walking and stairs so if you have limited capabilities be aware this is challenging but well worth the effort! I walk with a cane and it was difficult but doable -- a wheelchair would not be! Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. If beer or the rum offered is not your drink they will sub in something you can drink. Good way to get the history of early Sydney without a dry book or boring history lesson!

A bit disappointed as not really what I was expecting. Guide was a bit unorganised and basically seemed to meander around BUT there was some interesting facts I wasn't aware of before the tour

Lucy met us at the Quay and we were off for a true local experience. Her great knowledge of the area really helped us understand the history of the beginnings of Sydney. We poked into little known places that few will discover on their own.
The first wine tasting room is more of do-it-yourself affair and the wines were undistinguished. Not so much a tasting room as a storefront.
Dinner, which was included and quite ample, was at a lovely little pub and quite enjoyable. It gave us a lot of time to get to know Lucy and learn about the issues facing Australia. Turns out they hate they wretched politicians as much as we do!
We finished up with another wine tasting and Lucy helped us plan what to see for the next day. That was most helpful as we feel her tips really helped us maximize our time. GREAT local guide and an excellent value!

Great tour with great guides and lots of history explained. There were many anecdotal stories told to expand on the basic facts and loved the meal and beer at the end.

We were the only people on the tour that day and it was great. We learned so much about the history of Sydney. The guide was fantastic and the dinner was great.

First of all we did not take this actual tour due to a Viator conflict, but they set us up with a City Walking Tour which we really enjoyed. Also, it was less so they gladly gave us a refund, so no issues there! It was no inconvenience to us and in fact, we feel we probably enjoyed the City Tour more!

Excellent walking tour. Very informative about the settlement of Australia. The pubs we went to were top notch as well.
