For first time travelers to Auckland, this tour is a must! This tour highlights the City of Sails' scenic places. Our favorite is the short hike to Mt Eden Volcano's Summit. Our first time to be up close to an actual crater. It also shows 360-degree view of Auckland.

Very good tour the only thing is that other passengers received different information as to where to meet the bus. We were told to go to the Sky tower bus terminal and others were already on the bus when it arrived. They told us they were picked up from the ship. Apart from that the tour was very good.

My sister and I had a great time on our city tour of Auckland. Our cruise ship did not get us to our hotel in time for our morning tour but they switched it to the afternoon. Our driver, Sandy, was so informative. She is of Marori descent and gave us a great perspective of the history of Auckland and New Zealand. I had read a review of this tour before I left home and it was with the actual tour guide that I had read about. How lucky for us!

Our guide knew all the trivia as well as the normal history of everything! He was funny! It was a great way to see the city - especially since we got to get out by the bridge and take amazing photos of the city. It was particularly fun driving up through Parnell. I highly recommend this tour.

Once we got to the tour see below, this was a nice introduction to Auckland. For first time visitors, you will enjoy this tour much more if you do some research into the history of Auckland beforehand. As a parallel ... if you did a comparable tour in Philadelphia and knew nothing about its history, Independence Hall would just be an attractive building. Knowing what happened there is what makes it worth seeing. Fortunately, our tour guide/bus driver was very well informed and made places come alive.

The loss of two stars from five to three relates to a serious lack of communication beforehand. What we were told is that we would have a hotel pick-up at 1:10 pm. What we were not told is that we would be picked up by a taxi or a shuttle bus not the actual tour, and the driver of the pick-up vehicle would not know that he was picking us up for a tour. When the driver arrived at our hotel he had only my first name, and was looking to take someone to the bus station. We were looking for someone to pick us up for a tour ... he was looking for someone who needed to be taken to the bus station. After a prolonged wait on our part and his part, the hotel concierge finally intervened and told us that this was, in fact, our hotel pick-up for our tour. Making matters worse, when he dropped us at the bus station, he could not direct us where to go to pick-up our tour. We were just left at the curb, not knowing whether we were in the right place or not ... nor where to go to find out. In short, it was a very bad start to what turned into an informative tour.

This was the most amazing ,,,,,but scary,,,,,,thing I have ever done!!!!! Highly professional guide and very safe equipment. Would love to do it again,,,now that I know what to expect. If you are on the fence about doing it or not,,,,,,GO FOR IT!!!!

This 1/2 day tour fully complemented the full day tour taken by us the previous day. The guide had great information and managed the tour and very rainy day well.

I ENJOYED THIS TOUR A LOT, EVEN THOUGH THE WEATHER WAS A BIT RAINY,THE CAPTAIN HAD A GREAT SENSE OF HUMOR WHILE NARRATING/GIVING HISTORY OF THE CITY. THE MORNING TOUR PROVIDED US WITH SOME COFFEE/TEA/JUICE AND SNACKS.GRERAT VIEW OF THE CITY AND HARBOUR BRIDGE, GREAT FOR PICTURE TAKING.

A good informative tour covering most areas of the city, some off the normal tourist routes.

This trip was very interesting and well organised
Especially enjoyed the visit to Parnell
