If you've heard of Bungy, you've heard of Kawarau - home to the original 43-metre Bungy Jump. The world's first and most infamous of leaps is still going strong, with tens of thousands Bungying each year.
At the world's best-loved Bungy site, you can choose from a number of options; topple over backwards, forwards, with another person, spin or somersault. Kawarau Bridge Bungy is also the only Bungy in Queenstown where you can choose to bob above the water, touch it, or be fully immersed.
"Physically, no harm will come to the jumper. The system is very gentle on a person who jumps. You can be a big strong guy or a little wee girl or a paraplegic or a very old person - it's no problem to jump all these people because the thing about Bungy is that it's from the shoulders up not the shoulders down & so it's inside your head."

Booking Conditions

Age: Min 10 yrs (Children 14 and under need to be accompanied by an adult)

Weight: Min 35kg - Max 235kg (78-518lbs)

Tandem Jumps: Total weight difference must NOT be more than 30kgs (66lbs). (Tandem jumps are on a request basis only and are subject to availability on the day)

Medical Conditions: These are a case by case basis so please talk to the team if you have a medical condition. Pregnant women are unable to Bungy Jump

Spectators: FREE

What to bring

Comfortable clothing and secure shoes

Cameras are more than welcome

Self-drive: Every 15mins from 9:30am-4:15pm. Check in is 15mins prior

With FREE transport: Buses depart daily at 9.20am, 10.40am, 12.00pm, 1.20pm, 2.40pm Check-in 30mins before departure.

You can purchase all your photos and videos which are basically don't within 20 minutes after you finish your jump. And incredible quality. A MUST DO!!! I am a 45 year old mother with a 25 year old daughter. I previously went skydiving at the age of 30 and thought my daredevil days were over. Since this was the first ever bungy jump, it was not negotiable as far as my daughter was concerned. I regretfully agreed and am glad I did. We had the best time and would have jumped again, had time permitted. The staff was great and we have amazing photos and videos from our jumps. We had a hard time deciding whether to jump tandem or individually. We opted for individual jumps and are glad we did.
