I was very impressed with our tour overall! Frederica was such a knowledgeable tour guide translating into three languages flawlessly (as far as I know) and none of them were her native tongue! I was a little disappointed with the winery tour. I have been on tours of beer factories and distilleries and am used to seeing some of the process and touring the grounds. I thought for sure we would be ambling through some olive groves or vineyards, maybe seeing some grapes or olives squashed. Nonetheless, the rest of the tour was amazing and very informative. There was plenty to see and do, and the tasting was fantastic. I bought several bottles of this and that to be sent home. The winery gave me a lovely little wine tool as a souvenir which was confiscated at Customs upon reaching the US. Still, the memories of the tour of these wonderful places remains.

We had a great time on this tour and enjoyed all of the destinations. We would have enjoyed a little more time in the different locations but we understand that is not practical with so many things in one tour. The only thing that might have allowed us to spend more time would be to limit translations to one or two languages (it was a bit long waiting for every spoken word by tour guides and others to be translated 3 times).

This tour was an amazing day tour, we got to discover this little village called Monteriggioni, then we went to Siena, which I found to be the most amazing city its history was mind blowing. From there we went to a winery had a wine tasting and then went to San Gimignano, a small town full of charm and breathtaking views. I recommend this day tour it was great!

The ticketing and on boarding process was very good. The tour guide on the bus was excellent. After that it went down hill. When they say the tour is Spanish and English, I thought that meant it was available in either language. Instead, our guide first spoke in one language then repeated it in the other language, meaning that he could not point out things of interest due to need to translate. On arrival to Monteriggioni we were told the bus would park 15 minute walk away. Would have been good to know that ahead of time since my 80 year old mother in law was with us. Only having 30 minutes did not give enough time to explore and shop in this beautiful setting so most of the family had to rush through to see the city because they had stopped to shop. Could have easily spent an hour in the village looking around. Next stop was Siena where we again had to park a 10 minute walk away from town. We had a guide in town but if I just look at what the guide showed us I would think that Siena is just a medieval plaza and a church when there was so much more to it from what I have read. Lunch was the worst meal I have had in the 16 days I have spent in Italy and was on par with the average Italian restaurant in the US. The wine served was not palatable to most of the people at our section of the table although others did drink 1-2 glasses of wine. The tour in San Gimignano was nice, again an uphill walk to town but seemed that we had enough time to get a taste of this village (could probably spend a day there). The wine tasting was horrible. I am huge fan of Italian wines, especially Tuscan wines but the wine served at the tasting does a disservice to anyone not familiar with these wonderful wines. Visiting a newly developing vineyard would be great if we could have gone elsewhere to taste the wines of Tuscany but as the only real tasting it was a huge disappointment. I will not do this tour and cannot recommend that anyone take this tour without changes.

Great tour. Loved seeing the hilltop towns, excellent lunch and trip to a winery. Perfect experience in Italy. Bus, tour guide and driver were excellent! Highly recommended.

It was a pleasant walking tour and the guide was entertaining. However the group size was too big. Lunch was a bit of a mess as the restaurant could not cope with the crowds. We ended walking up and down the restaurant floors 3 times before we were settled down to lunch with another group. Fortunately the other tourists were very friendly and we had a good dialogue with them over lunch.

Great locations, but really needed maps for pickup locations and getting around, especially when late at night /in the dark. Warn people with mobility about walking long distances and up steep hills. We battled a bad storm, but there were no emergency information or back-up plan.

We enjoyed the cities visited and their history and sights. Lunch was really good and the visit to the winery capped a wonderful day.

Our tour guides were good, the bus very comfortable, Tuscany views terrific, lunch good, and winery a fun, nice last stop. If you are a history buff, you won't have time on this tour to appreciate all the history there is to see. The tour is a good overview - you may want to do it all again on your own, taking your time. Monteriggioni was the first stop and slowest paced - it is so small we actually had time to look around at a leisurely pace and it was not crowded. Siena was crowded. We had a short (30min) tour from a local guide - couldn't hear her too well even though we had the headsets. Then 30-40 minutes on our own, then lunch (which was leisurely and good), then back on the bus to San Gimignano which would have been interesting to take more time to explore, but time is limited and it is also crowded. What we had time for was walking the length of it, taking in the views, hitting a few stops. Our bus had an issue, which the tour guides figured out a workaround for - kudos to them so we still had time to get to the winery which was a nice way to end the day. The winery was very nice, the wine good as well as tasting the olive oil and balsamic vinegar. We bought some wine.I felt this tour was worth the price.

This was a convenient way to see several sights without having to participate in exhausting and often generic tours. We had ample time to freely move about on our own and experience the sights according to our interests. Beautiful day to boot! Wine tasting was a fun ending to a great day.
