The tour starts with a shuttle ride to the medieval town of San Casciano, just outside of Florence.
Walking along paths and country roads among Chianti Classico's olive groves and vineyards, we descend to a quiet spot where two creeks converge, where we are going to relax in the shade of a majestic sequoia tree.
Along the route, your guide will describe the traditional production processes for olive oil and wine making, and will help you appreciate the environments that are typical of the Florentine countryside: olive groves, vineyards, villas and towns.
Then you will head to a private Tuscan villa, we will be served a tasteful lunch, including olive oil and Chianti wine tastings. We will then visit the medieval cellars and the modern ones.
Transportation back to Florence will be provided.
