Start your tour and enjoy a day around Tuscany, visiting the most famous cities in the region. Start with Pisa and the stunning Piazza dei Miracoli with the Baptistery, the Cathedral and the iconic Leaning Tower. Continue your day discovering the countryside: stop at a renewed winery and enjoy a typical lunch and wine tasting. After lunch you will visit the medieval village of San Gimignano, a little town declared UNESCO World Heritage Site. Keep following the panoramic Chianti roads till you reach Siena, famous for its Palio Horse Race. Visit the stunning Piazza del Duomo and see both the exterior and the interior of the magnificent Cathedral with an expert guide. End the day with a light dinner consisting of Pizza and Gelato in Piazza del Campo. Relax sitting outdoor under the Torre dei Mangia.
Start your second day by leaving early in the morning from Florence and enjoy the ride to the Ligurian region. Get out of the city for a day and enjoy the most impressive rocky coastline you have ever seen. The Cinque Terre National Park is in Liguria and it has been declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Little villages, beautiful beaches and crystal clear water will be the frame to your day. Travel by train from a village to another and see four of them. Visit Vernazza, overlooked by the remains of a Medieval castle with a cylindrical tower; Riomaggiore famous for its wine and its typical narrow streets; the ancient fishing village of Monterosso, known as the ‘pearl of Cinque Terre’ and Manarola a tiny urban jewel characterized by Genoese style ‘case-torri’. During the tour you will have free time to take a swim or discover the villages on your own, plus you will get the chance to taste some Limoncino ligure.
Visit Piazzale Michelangelo and see the most amazing view over the city. Take plenty of pictures before continue on to Fiesole, the wonderful town of Etruscan and Roman roots situated on a hilltop overlooking Florence. On the drive to Fiesole you will have the chance to see suburban areas, hard to reach on foot, but still historically and artistically relevant. You will see the exterior of many different places such as Fortezza da Basso, Piazza della Libert?, San Domenico Church, Fiesole, Piazzale Donatello, Piazza Cesare Beccaria, Santa Croce Church, Palazzo Medici Riccardi, Piazza San Marco and much more. Afterwords enjoy a guided walking tour of the city with an expert guide. See the main sights in the historical center of the city. See the imposing Cathedral overlooking the Baptistery’s golden “Gates of Paradise” and learn about its architecture; walk trough Piazza della Signoria with the town hall Palazzo Vecchio. Walk over Ponte Vecchio and through the Uffizi courtyard.
