Day 1: Florence RomeMeet the tour agent at the Florence train station to pick up your train tickets, Rome bus passes and hotel information and then get escorted to the train. After a high-speed train ride to Rome Termini railway station, drop your bag at the hotel (located nearby) and head out for the day. Board the hop-on, hop-off bus and spend the day on the tour, getting off where you please and choosing when and where to get lunch and dinner (own expense). Wander the city, seeing history unfold before your very eyes.

Day 2: Rome Florence (B)
After breakfast, continue your exploration of the city. Your hop-on, hop-off bus ticket is good for two days, so you’ll have an easy time getting around. After two days of exploring Rome, get back on the train to Florence feeling like you conquered the Eternal City.

Great tour guide met us at the station. The group of four were comfortable getting on the high-speed train and finding the bus and hotel. Since the hotel will hold luggage, think we would have gone there first instead of the hop-on bus - too hard to lug stuff around. Hotel MonteCarlo was a gem, easy walk from the train station and to the bus.
