Day 1: Florence Naples Pompeii Amalfi Coast (L, D)
Make your way to the pickup point in Florence and board the comfortable coach, equipped with WiFi, for the drive to Naples. Listen as your guide discusses the history and culture of the famous port city. In Naples, enjoy a lunch of delicious Neapolitan fare, and don’t skip out on the world-famous pizza. Then go sightseeing, visiting Piazza Plebiscito and its Royal Palace, the gallery of Umberto I and the Castel dell’Ovo.
Then you’re in for a real treat: a visit to Pompeii, the amazingly well-preserved ruins of a town that was frozen in time by the eruption of Mt Vesuvius in AD 79. After some time exploring this extraordinary area, cruise the Amalfi Coast in the coach and then check in to your hotel in time for dinner.
Overnight: four-star hotel on the Amalfi Coast
Day 2: Amalfi Coast Capri Amalfi Coast (B, D)
After breakfast, hop on a hydrofoil and head to the island of Capri. The island, known for its glamor and celebrity visitors, makes for some nice strolling. Take the funicular up to Piazza Umberto I or, as the locals call it, La Piazzetta, the little square. Stop for an espresso or do some window shopping on the boutique-flanked lanes. Sit down for lunch (own expense) and then be prepared to see the real star of Capri: the Blue Grotto. Take a trip around the island via boat and then visit the blue cave, a natural wonder. It extends about 160 feet (50 m) into the cliff and gives off an incredible illuminating blue glow.
Please note: the trip around the island and the visit to the Blue Grotto are subject to good weather conditions. In the event of storms or heavy rain, a tour to the Faraglioni Rock will be done instead.
After viewing the Blue Grotto, board the hydrofoil and head back to your hotel for dinner.
Overnight: four-star hotel on the Amalfi Coast

The reward is a stunning view of Pompeii, the sea and, in the distance, Naples. After the hike, relax for a bit and then return to Florence on your comfortable coach, with drop-off at your departure point.
