This cooking class was probably my favorite thing I've done in Milan! Clara is an excellent host and chef who welcomed our group into her home and took us on a fun and informative market trip to pick up ingredients for our meal. She is an excellent teacher and in additional to being a great chef, is a sommelier. Our winter menu was delicious and paired exceptionally well with great wine. I would HIGHLY recommend this experience to all. I would consider myself a beginner in the kitchen and by the end of the class I felt like I could tackle many new dishes. Thank you again, Clara, for a great day!

Clara is amazing! This is one of the best food tours I've ever done. Market visit was so nice because you get to see the fresh ingredients you buy that you will cook with. Clara was so warm, inviting, knowledgeable, friendly and funny. So organized and very knowledgeable. It felt like we were a group of friends rather than a tour group. It was a nice intimate size so it felt very personalized and customized. Would highly recommend this tour!

I liked the fact that we went to the farmer's market and Clara taught us about eating fresh and seasonally. She was very knowledgeable about foods and wines and their pairings. Clara was a very passionate, personable, happy person and a delight to be around. The class was small and intimate. It was small enough to be able to talk to each person and get to know your cooking partners. It was a great way to learn some new cooking skills and be introduced into the Milan culture. We would do it again.

If you plan on a doing a cooking class in Milan then this is the class for you. This is the best cooking class we have taken overseas. Clara was exceptional. Her passion for cooking was contagious. We have come away from this class with new skills, wonderful recipes, fantastic tips and cannot wait to recreate the dishes we made.

An EXCELLENT and NOT TO BE MISSED Cooking Class with a highly qualified Chef who is extremely knowledgeable about northern Italian food and cooking. My two traveling companions and I, plus one other guest, spent an hour with Chef Clara Raimundi at a local outdoor market learning about and shopping for ingredients to be used that morning in our class. We returned to her kitchen and spent three hours prepping, assembling, cooking, and then eating a wonderful four course lunch. Dishes included a radicchio centered risotto prepared the right way, a special local squash lasagna Chef's own recipe, a cotechnino and lentil side dish, and a special chestnut cream tartlet as the dolce. Two wines accompanied our efforts and the meal.
No matter your level of kitchen expertise, you will learn and be inspired by Chef Clara's knowledge, skills, and most important her teaching ability. If you have an interest in northern Italian food and cooking, this class is NOT TO BE MISSED!

Travelling to Italy from Australia for 2 weeks, the highlight was Clara's cooking class. It was such a great day. The small group of 6 is just the right size in that all participants can be involved.The food prepared required technique which chef Clara was able to demonstrate and assist preparation with patience. Celebrating the food prepared and served at a long table lunch, accompanied by wine made a great day shared with great company.

I have traveled extensively throughout Europe the past 10 years and have visited Italy 5 times. I have scheduled tours with Viator in the past as well as with other tour companies. I had booked and attended the Milan Cooking Class an Market Visit on my birthday, September 10th. I have to say that in my 10 years of travel, this by far was one of the greatest experiences of my life. I had always been interested in Italian food and cooking -but just when I thought that I had known it all, I had met Clara. She is extraordinarily talented and educated in Italian cooking having attended chef school for 3 years, sommelier school for 3 years, and is currently attending pastry school. To further enhance the experience, this class takes place in Clara's apartment. Upon meeting, the menu is discussed over coffee and an approximate hours visit to the fresh market occurs. Clara is an extremely dynamic individual, very knowledgeable, gregarious, generous, kind, warm and outgoing personality, extremely passionate about her craft. She is also very patient, and on the occasion interjects humor into the layperson's misinterpretation of what Italian cooking is all about. She spends a good quality of time taking the multiple course meal step by step without rush. The day of my class also happened to be my birthday, and our prepared meal was finished off with our delicious endeavor, great wine, laughter, and dessert complete with a singalong happy birthday to me. I would highly recommend this class without hesitation. It was one of the greatest experiences in my life that I have encountered!!!

The day started fairly early with a coffee at a local coffee shop and a trip to the market. It's a great experience to visit with a chef who is passionate about seasonal Italian produce.
Following this we went to Clara's beautiful apartment for our cooking lesson- we were talked through how to make gnocchi, risotto, stuffed sole, stuffed artichokes and a fresh strawberry tart. Each of us learned new skills and gained knowledge- including why you should never drink cappuccino after 11:00.....
We finished the tour by eating our dishes, with a wine chosed by Clara to accompany. Delicious!
I would definitely recommend for people who enjoy food and cooking, and who would like to get more insights into Italian cooking and culture. Thanks Clara for a great time!
