Depart from your central Naples hotel in the morning for a private day trip to the Amalfi coast in a classic Italian Fiat 600. Cruise along the southern side of Italy’s Sorrentine Peninsula as your guide winds you around the extraordinary curves of this coast full of UNESCO World Heritage sites. Stop in Sorrento, a charming town famous for limoncello and views of the Bay of Naples, where it is said that the Roman emperor Caligula built a bridge of boats across the bay and rode across in a chariot. In the distance, see the island of Capri and Mt Vesuvius.
