Our group loved exploring Erice with a first stop at the local bakery. We had a wonderful lemon pastry and sampled different coated pistachios. The views were spectacular, although we were in the clouds in some areas. Recommend going on a clear day. The lunch at the olive farm was very good. And our guide, Josephine, was very personable and knowledgeable.

Our guide, Giuseppina, was a delight to spend the day with. She was so knowledgeable about the two sites, fun personality, safe driver and very hospitable. We couldn't have asked for a better day! We had an unusual snowstorm on the way back to Palermo and her driving was very cautious and skillful. We are so happy we had her. The town of Erice was my favorite medieval town ever! Amazing views from the tower. Segesta is in such a beautiful setting. We were very pleased with the day!

A wonderful day tour, value for money and experience. We had an excellent driver who was only too happy to talk to us about the local foods and customs and to guide us through beautiful Erice. Our lunch at a local farm/vineyard was excellent, so much flavour and a great cross section of home-cooked local food. We had more than enough to eat, all of it good, and it included their own wine and and olive oils.
We would happily go back and do this tour again, particularly if we could have the same cheerful and informative driver.

Good tour, great lunch and fantastic guide

This was a great tour!! It was much more than I expected. I met the bus at the central location and got on the bus. There were about 15 of us I think. Everyone was super nice and the guide did a great job. Both Erice and Segesta were amazing. We had time to walk around and even got a little snack. Of course theres a bit of walking, but you can decide what you want to do. Great way to see the countryside and learn more about Sicily. I was traveling on my own and met some really great people on the tour! I recommend!

The meeting place in front of the Prada store was easy to find. We were comfortable on the bus not there is no bathroom. We received a great deal of interesting information about Palermo and the surrounding countryside on our 1.5 hour drive to Erice. Upon arrival we were given a tasty treat at a local sweet shop and a bathroom break before walking the incline up to the central square. We chose to immediately walk up to the castle - incredible views of the ocean and landscape below. We paid 2 euros to enter the open air museum as well. We walked back to the city center square and had just enough time for a glass of wine before boarding the bus. It took another hour to get to the olive vineyard. After a brief overview of olive oil making we were served a very delicious lunch of various vegetables, fish, pasta, etc. It was super tasty and there was more than enough food and wine to go around. Another hour drive took us to Segestra. Definitely purchase the 1 euro bus ticket to the ruins, it's a steep and long climb! We toured the hilltop ruins and walked down to the visitor center, then walked up a steep hill to the temple. Absolutely gorgeous and a must see! Incredible history and views. We got back to town at about 5:30PM. I would highly recommend this excursion for those interested in seeing ruins and the countryside.

Great sights. Great food. Great guide. I enjoyed the historical sights. The countryside is beautiful. The meal served in the Farm compound was outstanding. Take this tour.
