Accomodating for travellers on a budget... driving was a bit bumpy within the city butthe driver was very helpful and friendly

I'm sure Viator has contracts with lost of companies the provide transportation services. I bought this option as was assigned to Gray Line I Love Rome by Carrani Tours. The instructions states to call in 24 hours to arrange the time and place for pick up. I tried calling all 3 numbers 2 local and 1 800 number provided and no one even answered the phone. The 800 number took to a menu and then hung up after a minute. I thought I was doing something wrong in dialing so maybe that is why the call was not going through. I asked the hotel staff to help and even they couldn't get through to any of the 3 numbers provided. I had the hotel staff call for a taxi instead. I would NOT recommend this company at all to anyone.

When booking you are advised to book your transfer back to the airport 3 hours 35 minutes before your flight time. We booked in for 3 hours 45 minutes just to be sure as we knew we would be going through traffic in rush hour. 45 minutes went and we hadn't heard anything. We called the company who told us 'traffic is bad in Rome'! Out hotel asked us why we hadn't been picked up and I told them this comment and they said 'when is it ever good' so they must understand the traffic conditions for collecting us. We called them again as it was a 40 minute transfer and we were worried about not getting to the airport in rush hour and through security in time for our flight. They told us 'we know what time your flight is - you will be OK'. This made me annoyed, as if they had wanted to collect us at a different time then why agree to 3 hours 45 minutes prior to flight?? Eventually when we were on the phone for a third time the transfer showed up, quickly got us in but that wasn't the last pick up. The driver was speeding through red lights to get us there and we got there just under 2 hours before our flight time. I would not recommend as we were sat waiting and worrying for around 1 and a half hours then sped to the airport at ridiculous speeds.

This made it very convenient to get from our hotel to the airport. The car arrived in a timely manner, and we had no issues getting to the airport on time.

Me and my husband were the only one that he had to picked up and we were picked up in a BMW car. It was nice and clean.

The driver was on time, courteous and the car was clean. Best way to ensure you get to the airport on time is by booking these transfers
