the group leader was pleasant and very knowledgable.the location to meet tour was difficult to find. we felt li my e cattle in the last few rooms before the sisten chapel. didnt realize we had to pay additional 24 eu each.

A visit to the Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel is not to be missed! Plan on at least four hours and lots of stairs. We were exhausted by the end of the tour but we're glad we did it.

An "optional" fee for the Museum was not optional. Guide was good, but a talker. Would not recommend.

I liked having less people around but we spent a lot of time waiting for the slower members in our group to catch up. If you book this tour, remember 3 hours is a long time to be walking around listening to someone talk.

Difficult to hear the guide while outside because there was an orchestra playing in the background The guide was excellent and knowledgeable

Best time to see the Museums, and our local guide was awesome! So much insider knowledge and so many great back stories to all of the art in the museum! I loved it!

We were so excited about this tour but left disappointed. The instructions for locating the tour office were awful, and once we checked in, our "small group" tour had 31 participants! We had only one voucher to share with another large tour group so had to wait for 60+ people to go to the restroom, buy water, etc. before we even entered the Vatican Museum proper. Then we had to stand outside in the courtyard for over 30 minutes with our guide trying to talk over the very loud musicians playing behind us. He spent way too long talking about details of the Sistine Chapel on the small, unlit signs in the courtyard and half of us couldn't even see the signs! Bottom line, our 7:30 tour didn't even enter the actual museum until 9 pm!!! And our tour was supposed to end by 10 pm! Because we wasted 1.5 hours outside, he raced us through the museum in 45 minutes which left 15 minutes for us to spend in the Sistine Chapel. We will never book with this tour company again, period.

This was a very interesting tour. An amazing place to visit. The Sistine Chapel was the highlight of the tour.
The night tour was busy but worth skipping the line.
Overall very informative and enjoyable.

We booked this tour to avoid the heat and the crowds from the advertisements and reviews. We went middle of May 2018. It was SOOOO crowded. Wall to Wall people walking thru the galleries, we actually had to leave the guided tour with other guests because of the crowds. I think the Museum oversold because we couldn't have imagined it more crowded.
The Museum is fantastic and this wasn't the tour companies fault but be prepared and our guide really tried, he was great If I had to do it again I would try an early entrance ticket.

This was the only bigger group tour that we did over the few days we were in Rome. We would highly recommend this tour! The Sistine Chapel is BEAUTIFUL! The Vatican is usually a pretty busy venue, but it was slightly less busy at night and the temperature had dropped some, too - which was nice. We would do this tour again!
