Such highlights include the Rooms of Raphael, the Sistine Chapel, and Ancient Roman and Greek pieces in the Belvedere Courtyard.

As the Sistine Chapel is located at the far end of said rooms, we have outlined the shortest possible route to get you there quickly and without waiting (while still covering the most important masterpieces along the way). Before reaching the chapel, your guide will proffer a detailed analysis of the art and architecture therein, so you'll be able to fully appreciate and understand it's magnificence.

After leaving the Sistine Chapel, you will have direct access to St. Peter's Church which is allowed only to official guided tours. All other visitors are forced to exit the Vatican, take the long route to St. Peter's, and line up again to get inside.
