We visited the gallery on October 13 and we enjoyed a small tour of nine people. Sabrina was our tour guide and as a PhD in art history was a wealth of knowledge of the artwork in the gallery. She had a definite passion for the arts which was expressed in her discussion of the various paintings and sculptures. It was great to hear the history behind the painters and sculptors. The walk after the gallery tour was enjoyed as well and we were given a history of the garden and various points of interest within the park. I highly recommend this tour.

Really excellent tour, with extremely knowledgeable guide who shared her passion for the art of the gallery in a way that was infectious.I learned a huge amount and thoroughly enjoyed both the gallery and park visits.

We settled on the tour because it was the only way to get tickets for the day we wanted to see the Borghese -- otherwise, we would have just gotten the tickets directly. I'm glad it worked out this way because going through the galleria with the guide really enhanced the experience and made sure we understood the history of the Bernini/Borghese patronage. Our guide Anna was friendly, knowledgeable and incredibly composed she was harassed multiple times by a member of the staff but kept her cool and stayed professional and engaged with us the whole time. After the tour, she led us on a walk through the grounds and then up to a wonderful lookout at the Pincio Terrace which was also a perfect departure point for everyone from the group to their various directions.

For being a lattice crowd in front it was a little more disorganised than our Vatican tour was. This is my second two of The Galleria Borghese for much shorter than my last one. Being only 2 hours lying you only get to see the masterpieces. If you want to see the other pieces in more detail you will need to schedule a longer tour. For us is to our two hour tour was just fine as we had just done a 4 hour tour of the Vatican. The guide was knowledgeable in Nice. If you just want an overview and to see the masterpieces this tour is a good one.
