This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Sistine Chapel, Vatican City, Lazio

Meet and greet your guide opposite the entrance to the Vatican Museums, a collection of galleries filled with classical and Renaissance masterpieces, including the Sistine Chapel frescoes.
Walk inside through a reserved door without any waiting. This access is even faster than the priority lines. Once inside, there are more than 2,000 rooms and nine miles of art, so follow along with your guide who will point out the highlights and explain the story behind each piece. The small-group nature of your tour allows you to remain close to your guide at all times, but a headset is included to make sure you can always hear the commentary clearly.

Stop At: Vatican Museums, Vatican City, Lazio

Stroll through rooms like the Gallery of Maps, with its golden, vaulted ceiling; the Raphael Rooms, painted by Renaissance artist Raphael; and the stunning Sistine Chapel, considered to be the Pope’s home chapel, with Michelangelo’s Creation of Adam and The Last Judgement. On your early-access tour, you’ll find the galleries to be considerably quieter than they would be later in the day.

Stop At: St. Peter's Basilica, Vatican City, Lazio

Finish with a visit to St. Peter’s Basilica, the largest church ever built and one of the holiest and most important sites in Christendom. Get an overview of its long history from your guide, and get an up-close look at the Piet?, one of Michelangelo’s earlier sculptures that depicts the body of Jesus on the lap of his mother Mary after the Crucifixion.
Your tour ends inside the basilica. After you’ve finished exploring with your group, you can stay as long as you want on your own. It’s the perfect time to head down into the crypts or climb up to the top of St. Peter’s dome (own expense) for uninterrupted views of Rome.

Unfortunately was for early morning Wednesday on a day with a Papal audience, which left us without access to St. Peters Basilica early. The museum was VERY busy, even with early access. Our guide was good.

Early access to the Vatican was totally worth it. Even though other tours also offered early access, Viatour got us into other areas that the other tours were not getting into. Our guide took her time and let us explore and answered all of our questions. She had so many interesting facts and was extremely knowledgeable.

This tour was wonderful. I had been to Rome before and experienced the long lines and crowds at the Vatican. I decided this time around I'd try to avoid that. We entered the Vatican so early that many of the rooms that we entered were empty. We were actually able to stop and take pictures, ask questions and examine the details of what we were seeing. Rafaella was a very knowledge guide and fully fluent in English. She could answer any questions. I was particularly touched by her interaction with a child on the tour, whom she treated with the greatest respect. Overall, great tour!

I really enjoyed the tour! The tour guide, Christian, is very engaging, passionate and knowledgeable. He has a background in art history and was able to speak in depth about the pieces and areas we saw. Christian made the group atmosphere really interactive and fun. You can expect to see the Candelabra Room, The Maps Room, The Tapestry Room, and the Pine cone Courtyard during this tour. You go through all of those areas before you get to the Sistine Chapel and then we closed with St. Peter's. There are so many tours offered that I was unsure if I had picked the right one, but I can say, I feel like I chose the best tour and would recommend it to anyone.
