This is a fantastic way to experience the beautiful city of Venice in one day and perfect if you are trying to experience as much of Italy as possible within a short-time frame. Despite an early start, a comfortable and pleasant three-hour train ride awaits for your trip to Venice. Our group was accompanied by a guide for the day who was knowledgeable about her surroundings and was happy to answer any questions about the city. We then had around five hours to explore the city on our own, whether that is St. Mark's Basilica or the Square itself or even a ride around the famous canals in a gondola. Overall this was a fantastic experience for one day and we can now happily tick Venice off our list of places to visit.

This is a must for every traveler to Italy. I love this trip. We have a wonderful experience, and our tour guide was very proficient. I will highly recommend this to every American tourist to be part of their itineraries in Italy. Although it was a high speed train, it was not really going as fast as you expected it to be. Anyway, it was a fantastic experience except piazza areas and toilets are commercialized which American first time travelers would never expect it.

Our trip to Venice was amazing! Lots to see. I only wish they made is easier when it came to the point of contact. It was a little confusing trying to meet our guide in the morning before heading to Venice.

Very well managed, we were a group 57 and the tour was organised to our satisfaction. Gondola ride across the canals at Venice was the highlight of the tour for me and my family.

This tour was WAY overpriced for what you get. You do not get the skip the line like it says. You have to wait in line like everyone else and honestly, If I could do it again, I would have skipped seeing the cathedral all together. It's not worth waiting in line for. There was an older couple that couldn't keep up with the tour guide and even when being told and reminded time and time again our tour guide kept walking way to fast and leaving them behind. The only thing I liked about having a guide was being shown which train/boat to get on and off, times of departure/arrival and she did make renting the gondola easier. Other than that I feel we could have done this on our own and paid way less!! I also feel like doing it on our own we could have spent more time there and explored more. Venice is beautiful and the train ride is great!!! It was one of my favorite things to do and so worth it, but don't do it through this tour. Just buy train tickets, do some research and do it on your own. save yourself the money.

The trip was well organized and plan. Be prepared for a 15 to 16 hour day without hotel pick-up and drop-off included in package. by the way, I would encourage anyone with time on their hands to book this trip.
