Stop At: Duomo di Pisa, Pisa, Province of Pisa, Tuscany

first stop in the region is Pisa, home to the gleaming white monuments of Piazza dei Miracoli. The most famous is the Leaning Tower of Pisa, an iconic UNESCO site, which is recognised around the world. Pose for photos outside the tower and see Pisa Baptistery and Pisa Duomo.

Stop At: Galleria dell'Accademia, Florence, Tuscany

Continue to Florence for lunch (own expense), and then meet back with your guide for a tour of the center. Work your way around medieval streets, see old craftsmen workshops, and learn about the powerful Medici family who became de facto rulers of the city.
