The experience begins with pickup from your hotel in central Rome two hours before the match. Sit back in an air-conditioned vehicle and relax on the journey to the impressive Stadio Olimpico. Located north of the city, the stadium is the home ground for Rome’s two biggest clubs — AS Roma and Lazio — and has a capacity of around 70,000.
Upon arrival, make the most of a pre-match buffet spread, which will feature dishes inspired by the opposition team. There will also be an open bar, where you can sip away on complimentary drinks, both in the run-up to and during the game.
As the stadium begins to fill up and kickoff draws near, put on the official football scarf you've been given and let a hostess show you to your seats in the centrally located Tribuna D’Onore section. The seats here are designed for extra comfort and have enviable views of the pitch. Tickets for this section are not available through any other regular ticket vendors.
Feel the energy rise in the stadium as the passionate AS Roma fans congregate at the 'Curva Sud' at the short south end. Hear them expressing their support through rousing songs and chants including Antonello Venditti’s "Roma, Roma, Roma."
As the game gets underway, marvel at the precision and speed of the players, who move the ball up and down the pitch effortlessly. Observe the boisterous Roma fans responding to the action on the pitch through cheers and jeers. Feel free to pop back to the bar during the match for more refreshments.
After the full-time whistle is blown, exit the stadium. You’ll then be chauffeured back to your Rome hotel, where your experience concludes.
