Day 1: SorrentoTravel independently to your 3- or 4-star Sorrento tour hotel, or, if you're already staying in Sorrento, choose a hotel-to-hotel transfer to start your experience. Check in at your tour hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.
Perhaps make your way down to the harbor to soak up the views over the Bay of Naples, or sightsee independently, maybe admiring Sorrento’s Duomo or its bustling central square, the Piazza Tasso. In the evening, head to one of the local trattorias for dinner (own expense), where you can taste authentic Sorrento staples include pasta and arancini (fried rice balls).

Day 2: Sorrento  Capri  Sorrento (B, L)Following breakfast at your hotel, travel by car or minivan to the port. Meet your guide, and then catch a hydrofoil boat to cruise to the island of Capri, the beautiful holiday hotspot that sits just across the sparkling Bay of Naples.
On arrival on the island, travel to the picturesque town of Anacapri and if you wish, visit the famous Villa San Michele (own expense). Designed by Swedish physician and author Axel Munthe, this stunning 20th-century villa was built using the remnants of Roman ruins, and boasts jaw-dropping views of the island and Mt Vesuvius on Italy’s mainland.
If time allows, grab the chance to ride the chairlift (own expense) up to the summit of Capri's highest peak, Monte Solara. Climb aboard and at the top, drink in the sweeping 360-degree views that stretch across the island and to the mainland.
Next, take a break for a delicious 3-course lunch in Capri Town. Then, while away the afternoon checking out other top sights, such as the town’s main square of Piazza Umberto and its nearby shopping streets.
Alternatively, visit the nearby Gardens of Augustus (own expense), where a series of lush, flower-decked terraces command spectacular views of the island’s steep southern cliffs and jagged Faraglioni sea rocks. In the late afternoon, return to the hydrofoil boat and cruise back to Sorrento. The rest of the evening is yours to relax or explore at your own pace.

Day 3: Sorrento (B)Relax over breakfast and enjoy some free time in the morning. Your tour ends when you check out of your hotel or, if you’re staying on in Sorrento, with a hotel-to-hotel transfer.
