This was a fantastic experience our guide was amazing! It was a small group of about 10 people the first stop was at a local resto with appetizers and great wine parings. From there we walked over to a small wine bar where we tasted several red wines which were also fantastic. We strolled thru the streets and alleys of Taormina our guide seemed to know everyone! She was fluent in several languages which was also impressive.
The last stop was at a small desert place strolling thru the streets.
We would highly recommend this tour I can't remember our guides name but she was fantastic!

First of all, our guide, Rosario ... a most knowledgeable and polite man, and splendid company too.
The food and wine we enjoyed was all top-notch and plentiful.
We had such a great evening.

Alfredo met us right on time and is very knowledgable and loves what he does. He took an interest in all the people in our group. We learned about all the food and wine we tasted and the origins of each. There was a ton of food! We had a light dinner based on some of the reviews we read, but I can tell you there was more than enough food. Alfredo also taught us about many of the local traditions and customs while walking through Taormina

What a great evening in Taormina. Highly recommend this orientation to the town. Beautiful sights and terrific comraderie in the group. Making new friends is always wonderful. Alfredo, our host, very informative and entertaining. Great food and wine. Excellent value for money.

We met Di Maura Alfredo in Taormina with two other couples. Alfredo was extremely gregarious, humerous and a delight to accompany on a food and wine tour. We made three stops in two hours. The first was different white wines with mussels, swordfish, shrimp and anchovies. The second was the reds with bruschetta, olives, prosciutto and cheeses. The third was a dessert stop with four varieties and appropriate dessert wines. Alfredo explained the grapes for each wine and the best way ro taste and serve them.
I would rate this tour five stars as it expresses the Italian's love for foods and wines.

An enjoyable evening out tasting both food and wine. Sufficient to replace a meal although red wine could be more generous. We also like the exchanges and meeting people from USA, Sweden and us from Malta. Tour Leader well experienced not only on the subject matter but also in the archeological and history of Sicily.
