Commonly known as a Cinquecento, the quaint and perfectly pint-sized vintage Fiat 500 is a symbol of the famous and stylish Italian culture, as well as being the most adored car in Italy. Meet your tour leader in a centrally located office in Taormina where you will get the introduction to your very own original and lovingly restored Fiat 500. After a safety briefing to help you get familiar with the car, you'll take the driver's seat and prepare for this one-of-a-kind experience!
Following the tour leader's car out of Taormina, we will drive along Via Pirandello with its beautiful villas and Mediterranean gardens to reach the rocky coastline. Gaze up at the bluebird sky and get lost in the delicate murmur of the Fiat’s engine and the chirps of crickets and cicadas. From this picturesque road you can admire the spectacular nature reserve of Isola Bella being caressed by the turquoise sea.
Climb up to Taormina and enjoying the sights and panoramic views. Open the roof or the windows and feel the sun and breeze on your skin as you enjoy a relaxing drive through Taormina’s charming streets with your eye-catching and stylish retro car. Be prepared to be the centre of attention as you stop off to take photos.
Passing through charming Taormina you will go up to the sanctuary of Madonna della Rocca where the view of majestic Mount Etna disappearing into the turquoise waters of The Gulf of Giardini Naxos will provide the perfect photo opportunity. Cruising along the roads you will pass prickly pear plants and almond trees that typify this gorgeous region. Admire the Sicilian countryside as you ascend to the next stop - the enchanting small town of Castelmola.
Here you can visit the remains of the castle of Castelmola and stop to try an excellent local product - almond wine. This wine is produced with locally selected almonds and orange essence and it will be offered to you as a welcome gift before a refreshing aperitivo. Both will be served in a local bar that was founded in the 1700's by monks who once used it as a tavern. Today it remains one of the most traditional bars of the town.

The driver must be in possession of a valid European Union driving license or International Driving Permit. You must present identification that contains your address and date of birth.
Drivers must have sufficient experience driving a manual transmission vehicle. The Company reserves the right to refuse car rental to a person who does not have sufficient experience driving manual transmission vehicles. No refund will be made in these instances.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
One car fits a maximum of 3 adults or 2 adults with 2 children.
Please inform us of any food allergies in advance.
The cars do not have seat belts.
Please dress lightly, the cars do not have air conditioning. No sandals or flip flops.
It is not possible to install child safety seats as the cars are not fitted with seat belts. By law all children under the age of 3 years cannot be transported in cars without a seat belt. Children of 3 years and above can travel in the front or back seat only if they are over 150 cm tall.
Due to the size of the car, this tour is not suitable for passengers who weight over 100 Kg or who are taller than 1,9 meters.
