Day 1:Arrival at the accommodation at a 3* Hotel. Sightseeing tour of Marsala city and brief explanation of the history that marks this city.
Day 2:Breakfast at the Hotel. Guided tour of Marsala city, free lunch. Afternoon: Tour of old typical houses, back at the hotel, dinner and overnight stay. Goodness to taste: Marsala wine, tagghiancozzi, cheeses, dried tomatoes, eggplant caponata, stuffed peppers, seasoned bread, cappelletti.
Day 3:Breakfast at the Hotel. Guided tour of Trapani city, free lunch. Afternoon: Guided tour of the medieval town of Erice and lunch in Erice. Back at the hotel and overnight stay. Goodness to taste: Cous Cous, genovesi, pesto alla trapanese, Sicilian pizza, bottarga, tuna, anchones, (pasqualora sousage, only for winter season).
Day 4:Breakfast at the Hotel. Guided tour of Mazara del Vallo city, the city is famous for its fishing fleet the largest in Europe. Visit of old city centre and Satyr’s museum, free lunch. Afternoon: Selinunte archaeological Park. It will be possible to go to a home restaurant, to taste the typical organic Sicilian products. Goodness to taste: muccunetti, busiate with stewed pork , snapper in crazy water shrimp salad and mint, sweet and sour pumpkin.
Day 5:Breakfast at the Hotel. Guided tour of a winery to learn the process of transforming grapes into wine, taste Marsala wine, with combinations of typical sweet, free lunch. Afternoon: visit a cheese factory to learn the process of transforming milk into cheese and taste typical Sicilian cheese. Back at the Hotel , dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6:Breakfast at the Hotel. Guided tour of Palermo city, free lunch. Afternoon: continuation of tour Palermo’s city. Back in hotel, dinner and overnight stay. Goodness to taste: panelle, croquettes, baked pasta, sfincione, cassatelle, stigghiola, arancini, cannoli, bread & meusa, brioche & granita.
Day 7:Breakfast at the Hotel. Guided tour of Agrigento city, free lunch. Afternoon: tour of Agrigento county. Back at the Hotel, dinner and overnight stay. Goodness to taste: cuttlefish soup, meatballs of sardines, pasta with artichokes.
Day 8:Breakfast at the Hotel. Transfer to the airport for departure and end of the tour.
