This is the way to enter Venice. It may have been a bit more expensive, but the dock to dock service was priceless.

We exited the cruise ship to see our name on a card and met our person who called the water taxi and then walked us to the hotel desk. This was a great start to our Venice trip. I highly recommend this transfer

The Arrival transfer from our Cruise Ship to the Hotel was pleasant and uneventful - we were greeted punctually at the entrance of the Cruise Port and accompanied by our friendly, local Viator representative to our Water-taxi to our Venice, canal Hotel. Our Water-Taxi driver was helpful with our baggage party of 4 and very helpful assisting us into and out of the Taxi. I would highly recommend using this service when staying in the center of Venice. Having a dock at your hotel is a life-saver - carrying baggage up/down stairs over bridges is not an easy task.
I highly recommend using this service, especially when you are coming off, or starting your cruise from Venice.

FIVE STAR SERVICE - The price might seem expensive but it was totally worth it to me, a 73 yr. old woman, traveling with another 70 year old woman. We arrived in Venice by cruise ship. The thought of moving our suitcases, backpacks, and aging bodies from the cruise ship to our hotel using a larger water taxi service and then lugging everything over bridges and through the crowded streets of Venice was not something we looked forward to doing. This service sounded perfect for us - and it was. We collected our luggage at the port terminal and as soon as we stepped outside the terminal exit door, we saw our escort holding a sign with our names on it. She helped us with our luggage and walked us a short distance to the private water taxi pick-up location. Although there were dozens of boats lined up ours moved quickly into position to pick us up. Our bags/carryons were moved aboard by the escort and driver and we were on our way. The water taxi was a classic woody on which we could sit insider or outside the enclosed cabin. About 15 minutes later we docked at our hotel's private dock and walked about 10 feet to enter the building. The escort transferred our belonging to a hotel porter and said goodbye. The entire land/water transfer was flawless there was not one aspect of the service that could have been improved upon. It was PERFECTLY EXECUTED.

Couldn't find our water taxi. No one was there to greet us as represented. No one with sign with our names on it. Had to go to various information booths to find out where to go. Although we paid for private water taxi, they had us down as sharing one. Very disorganized and disappointing.Eventually we made it to our destination but far from smooth, anxiety-free experience.

Best experience it's a little daunting when you first arrive in Venice off a cruise ship, a young lady was there to greet us and waited with us until the taxi arrived. This was not special because we were first timers this incredible company does it for all guests, they see you safely onto the taxi and then quickly leave didn't even get a chance to tip and say thank you. Would highly recommend

Transfer boat was very nice but driver wasn't friendly. Host that went with us to hotel was nice but essentially didn't do anything. We were dropped at hotel and didn't really need assistance. If your hotel is on water don't need a host to guide you.

We were three, senior women using this service for transport to our hotel on the canal. We were met promptly at the cruise ship but never expected the very long walk to the pier to pick up the water taxi....a difficult situation since one of us has mobility issues. We were fortunate to get porters at the pier to handle the luggage. Also be aware that getting into and out of water taxis requires a good deal of assistance if one has any mobility issues at all. The water taxi company did provide the necessary assistance. Vaporettos have level entrances and exits, so a similar problem is not present. Except for the long, unexpected walk, the service was excellent.

It's very chaotic at the port. I had to look out for the transfers and finally found a window to ask where I was suppose to be. Nobody met us as I had expected...I had a very nice girl escort us to a beautiful water taxi. We zipped to Venice port and handles our own bags...I though it was full service? We then pulled out bags to our hotel and over bridges. Finally found the hotel ....I'd say don't do the full service as it was much more expensive and not really anything extra.

We were informed what time and where to go to meet our escort. The lady that met us at the dock was very nice and informative and took us right to the hotel.
