Great guide very knowledgable but very poor value for money, tiny amount of food and you don't leave San Marco. You get one glass of wine and one very small snack per bar and you only go to three bars! Not worth the price. Try another instead.

We arrived at the meeting place as the tour had started but caught up with the help of another guide. We visited only 2 Bacari although we did have 2 glasses of wine and 2 appetisers at the first one. The group was very friendly and our older guide very knowledgable about Venice as we wandered through the streets. After settling in at the second Bacari the guide suddenly announced that this was a nice place for dinner if we wanted to stay and she left!! The other people we were with were a bit stunned at this as were we we thought we'd missed something at the beginning and so no Ghost stories. Still a fun couple of hours.

The description of this tour seemed intriguing but in actuality it was quite a bore. Some attendees of the tour booked one or the other food or ghost stories but that wasn't presented as an option for us. The tour guide, Barbara, was very nice but the drinks and food were nothing to speak of. A white or red wine at each location- snooze. A tiny bite of one item in each of the 3 locations sometimes we could select ourselves and sometimes not. All in all I think this could have been done much better and I wouldn't recommend to others visiting the area.

Wine a food was amazing! We visited small pubs we wouldn't have found otherwise. The food was great and the wine was divine! FYI - the ghost tour is separate and after the wine and food. Also, there was very little about ghosts. :/

Excellent tour. Guide was very friendly, spoke english well and was a good story teller. Also went to 3 wine bars that were out of the way qnd had excellent glasses of wine and nibbies

My Husband and I knew it was going to be in English and French. However,the guide spent much more time with the French clients. We became bored, as the clients and guide conversed and laughed while we just sat there. Since we were catching a very early flight to USA the next morning we decided after 2 hours to leave the tour early and just forfeit the cost of the tour.
This tour is 3.5 hours, however if only in one language could be completed in 2 hours.

The food portion of the tour small plates and wine was outstanding. The guide was knowledgeable and engaging. We did this the night we arrived in Venice and learned a lot about the area. The second portion ghost stories was weak. One couple in our group had booked only the food portion of the tour. I'd recommend skipping the ghosts.

A lot of fun. We actually met two other couples from the USA who lived close to us. Highly recommend.

Really enjoyed this tour, Hazel our guide was fantastic. Needed the ghost tour to walk off the wine from the cicchetti tour.

This is a great tour to get an introduction to the city if Venice and the food of Italy. You go to three different locations and have a glass of wine and an appetizer. Fabulous food, great information and tips for the city and a great guide. We had quite a small group and it was wonderful because we could ask any questions. The ghost tour along with this wasn't as fulfilling because of being a busy night in the city and a lot of the locations were to busy for the ghosts to come out
