It was not what we were expecting !! Small tour into several different rooms to hear a recording on the history of ham !! Then upstairs to taste 6 different kinds !
This was not worth the cost!!

You meet at a point from where they take you and show where the restaurant is and where the tour is for the Iberian Ham. Not really quite wat I was expecting.

Nice facilities and very informative. We enjoyed the tour, especially the tasting at the end!

Very educational and was great to do on our first day in Barcelona. Allowed us to learn how to appreciate ham and its varieties.

Difficult to comment on this, the Hamon Experience merits 5 stars, and the Meal at Xalot deserved 4 stars. However these were 2 separate events that did not in my opinion offer a integrated tour. The role of Tours, Tapas and Friends, which was the designated meeting point was a complete mystery. A largely disinterested gentleman provided us with a voucher for the Hamon experience and a voucher for the meal, in exchange for our Viator voucher! He then gave as an inadequate map showing the route between the Hamon Experience and the Xalot restaurant, togeter wuith vague directions to the Hamon Experience. On arriving at the Hamon Experience we had to exchange our voucher for a ticket. The 'tour' scheduled for 11:30 eventually started at 12:00 and was really excellent.
Then came the challenge of finding the restaurant. The 3 minute walk according to the Google Maps route provided was simply not realistic, partly because the map was very small scale and partly becasue it simply took much longer 10 to 15 minutes would be closer to the mark if you knew where you were going or 30 minutes as we didn't!. The restaurant was fine, friendly staff and good food exactly as described.
Why Tours, Tapas and Friends were involved is beyond me, they added no value whatsoever. Equally the Hamon Experience could have provided the meal in their own bar / tapas area where we had a drink as part of the Hamon Experience. This would have made for a much more self contained and enjoyable experience. The restaurant was certainly a nice touch but the way things were organised made this unnecessarily complicated.
