Our guide came to our apartment in the old part of the city and as we walked to the metro, he told us the history of the medieval part of the city, such as the Roman wall. If you haven’t taken the metro, you can see how it works as we took it with him to get to Passeig de Gracia. We also took a bus with him. He talked about the exteriors of the Casas Battlo, Amatller, and Pedreres; and Sagrada Familia.

Jorge was very knowledgeable about Gaudi and began the tour by showing us how to navigate the Metro, which we used several times during the remainder of our stay. We learned how Gaudi's work relates to Storm Troopers and Game of Thrones - but no spoilers here! Sagrada Familia was the highlight of course and Jorge made an extra effort to show us the interior even though it wasn't included in the tour.

Marc was an excellent tour guide. He had a ton of great information and was able to answer every question we asked. The buildings were very interesting, although I wish we could have gone into the Gaudi building. He had pictures though, so we could see some of the architecture. La Sagrada Familia was unbelievable. Marc explained all of the designs on the exterior, which we would never have understood on our own. We spent the extra money to go on the tower climb and were very happy we did so. The views from the top were incredible. We highly recommend this tour!

It was a great experience with Ramon! He was very knowledgeable about Gaudi and other competitors of the time. Ramon imparted a lot of detail regarding the architectural styles of the time, details in the buildings and did not overload us with information. I would definitely use him again. He was courteous, and well spoken and well prepared.

A private tour is the way to go with this type of sightseeing. Jorge, our tour guide was absolutely the best. He paced everything just right so we didn't feel rushed, had plenty of time for pictures and even treated us to a rest break at a nice cafe along the route. Our guide was very knowledgeable, spoke excellent English and gave us so much information that we would surely have missed by trying to view these sites on our own. Jorge knew where all the best spots were for photos and was very adept at moving around crowds and helping us get to our destinations. He was personable and fun to talk with which made the tour that much more enjoyable. This is an architecture - focused tour and offers lots of insights on Gaudi's life and work but if architecture doesn't appeal to you, this might not be the best tour for you.

What a fantastic experience we had with Jorge. He was knowledgeable, professional and so, so friendly and warm. The tour itself was amazing and so interesting. The Sagrada Familia is breathtaking as is the other architecture which makes Barcelona so special. Jorge made Gaudi and Barcelona come alive. We couldn't have been happier with our private walking tour. Jorge took care of everything including our coffee break with exquisite mini chocolate croissants! He is a gem. We would certainly rate this tour 10 out of 10.

Excellent tour! Jordi, our guide was wonderful. He was punctual and attentive. He was super knowledgeable about Gaudi and the Sagrada Familia. He told us additional history about Barcelona and Spain throughout the tour as well. The tour was small just my family which was very nice. There is some walking, but nothing crazy and we took the bus to Familia Sagrada which was a nice chance to get off our feet and also see Barcelona's public transportation which is modern and comfortable. Would highly recommend this tour and Jordi!
