Meet your guide in central Barcelona, and hop aboard your electric bike: a regular two-wheeled bicycle with a handy electric motor that kicks in when you start pedaling. Riding your electric bike is simple, but your guide will deliver a comprehensive safety briefing to put you at ease.
Put on your helmet, and then pedal along the streets around Barcelona Cathedral (Cathedral of the Holy Cross and Saint Eulalia), one of the city’s Gothic masterpieces. Gaze in awe at the cathedral’s exterior to see the mythical gargoyle creatures that adorn the roof, and then continue past the Arc de Triomf. Hear how the monument was built for the 1888 Barcelona World Fair, and has since become one of the city’s most distinctive landmarks.
After stopping for photos, cycle onward to La Monumental bullring to see where Barcelona’s traditional bullfights take place. Learn about the controversial sport that remains deeply ingrained in Spanish society, and then enter Barcelona’s central park: Parc de la Ciutadella.
Cycle along the sheltered pathways that weave through the park, enjoying the tranquil surrounds, and head out onto the streets of El Born to see one of Barcelona’s most vibrant neighborhoods. Pass El Born Centre Cultural, home to a series of exhibits about life in the city in the early 18th century, before arriving at La Sagrada Familia.
Park your bike and head past the crowds with your skip-the-line entrance ticket to enjoy roughly 1.5 hours of free time inside the UNESCO-listed cathedral. Make use of an audio guide if you wish, and hear how the famously unfinished monument is set for completion around 2026, in time for the centenary of its architect: the inimitable Gaudi.
Having explored the cathedral, hop back on your bike and start cycling back to the start point with your guide. If time permits, enjoy a last photo stop outside two other Gaudi creations, the private houses of La Pedrera (Casa Mil?) and Casa Batll?. Then, continue back to the bike shop where your tour finishes.

Mabel was our guide and her pleasant demeanor and attentiveness were essential to our tour! Ask for her if you get the chance to take this tour. Got to a lot of Barcelona including bits of the Gothic Quarter, Parc de la Ciutadella, and the Arc de Triompf before getting to Sagrada Familia this is where the electric bikes paid off!, then on to Casa Mila and another stop. Started about 9-10 done by 1-2 in time for lunch! As with most tours, we'd have loved a little more time in Sagrada Familia and the chance to actually tour Casa Mila, but for the price and the e-bike going up the hill to Sagrada Familia, it was well worth it!

Marcel was brilliant. Could not of done it any better. Explained the history with such passion, we asked a lot of questions and he took the time to listen. It was our first ever visit and even had time to talk about what we plan on doing whilst we were there. Where to visit etc. A thumbs up from us:)

This tour is fabulous ! So much fun ! And you see so much of Barcelona . Our tour guide was very good as well . Would definitely do this tour again ! We did get lost several times trying to find the office . There are worse things to happen to you than getting lost in Barcelona !

Also getting the history of the city and architecture was very interesting. It was also great skipping the line at the Sarada Familia. Fantastic ride to Sagrada Familia - wish it were longer! Our guide was knowledgable and very friendly, and she looked after us - 10 bikers in Barcelona! Getting to the highpoint skip the line at Sagrada Familia was easy and fun learning about the city's colourful past. The Sagrada Familia is such a spectacular sight, Gaudi was a genius. On the way back we stopped at Casa Mila and Casa Batllo, fantastic ride that will not disappoint!

We had 9 in our group on the e bikes and Manuel our guide did a great job showing us around the city.
He has an excellent local knowledge and spoke excellent English and engaged with the group easily.
The bikes were in good order and the 4 hours passed very quickly.
Highly recommended.
